In 2010 he moved to Waco, Texas where he would work with and be mentored by a Waco Native named Garnell “G Baby” Davis who showed him the ends and outs of writing, producing, and engineering a song from scratch. With the knowledge he gained from him, Laylow has been able to write, produce, and engineer four solo mixtapes including “Taylored 2 Da Game” which was released on June 22, 2012 as a Miami Heat Tribute.

Since “Taylored 2 Da Game” Laylow has relocated to Staten Island ,New York, in search of a new sound and more artist to take with him on his rise to the top
